Reebok head to run whole adidas group in India

A company statement said: “We are currently implementing a joint operating model in the dynamic and growing market of India. Bringing together adidas India and Reebok India as one team will ensure that the adidas Group continues as the overwhelming leader in sports within India, setting the pace and showing the way forward for many years to come. We are confident that under Subhinder's leadership, the adidas Group in India will come together as one team and ensure we maintain our position at the pinnacle of the sports business on the Indian sub-continent.”
Andreas Gellner, currently managing director of adidas India, will take over responsibility as managing director of south east Europe, with responsibility for the company’s business in Greece, Cyprus and the Balkans.
