Golf pro to compete in new Ecco shoes
Danish footwear brand Ecco has launched its new ‘Comfort Classic’ shoe and has announced that US Open champion Graeme McDowell will be competing in them this year.
The new shoe features Ecco’s ‘Hydromax leather’, which the company claims ensures the shoes remain soft and breathable while keeping feet dry in a range of conditions.
Mr McDowell will be joined by several other Ecco Tour players in wearing the new product, which also features a ‘second skin’ lining that Ecco says is light and breathable, and moulds to the contours of the foot.
The shoe also features an advanced construction process that gives the golfer support throughout the various stages of the swing, according to Ecco. The brand’s ‘Comfort Fibre’ system helps to keep the foot dry.
