Bangladesh’s prime minister, Hasina Wajid, has awarded export trophies to 39 businesses in recognisation of extraordinary performance in exports.

Three leather companies received gold awards, while two representatives of the leather industry won silver.

SAF Industries, Picard Bangladesh and Leatherex Footwear, all based in the capital, Dhaka, won gold trophies. RMM Leather Industries and FB Footwear, won silver.
