Cave-drawings inspire new shoe brand
01/04/2011
The shoes are available in soft leather or suede, with a simple rubber sole.
UK-based ZIMS directors Lindsey Mundy and Nick Mundy took inspiration for the footwear from the ancient cave drawings and beauty of the Matopo Hills near Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The simplicity of the ancient drawings and the vibrant landscape of the Matopos inspired them to create a laid-back shoe. ZIMS are available in a range of colours.
The shoes are handmade by a team of Spanish shoemakers.
The company claims its shoes are light, flexible and breathable, fully lined in leather, with a soft padded insole.
