Hong Kong-based company Tommy Hilfiger has launched a new range of footwear for spring-summer 2011 in India, complementing its portfolio of ‘Classic American Cool’ apparel in the country.

Having already established itself as a ‘lifestyle brand’ in India with apparel and other related products, it has now enriched its portfolio further with a line of footwear for both men and women.

The Tommy Hilfiger spring-summer 2011 footwear collection was unveiled on 9 March 2011 by Bollywood actors Dino Morea, Shahzaan Padamsee and Shailesh Chaturvedi, CEO and executive director, Tommy Hilfiger Apparels for Arvind Murjani Brands.

Speaking at the event, Mr Morea said: “Tommy Hilfiger Footwear complements the brand with its preppy inherent Tommy patterns. This collection of lifestyle inspired footwear has fabulous loafers, slip-ons, boat shoes and canvas for men which serve many occasions and usages with a relaxed, comfortable and cool feel”.

The footwear collection will add to the portfolio of the international designer brand in India, which has both apparel and accessories available in over 1,000 points of sale covering over 96 cities across India.
