York-based Pavers Shoes will add to its sales platforms on April 6 when it launches a television shopping channel dedicated solely to selling its shoes.

The channel—PaversShoes.tv—will be available to satellite television viewers, who will be able to buy a selection of shoes from the comfort of their own homes. The company expects the channel to be a huge success and forecasts it will increase total sales by 20%, adding around £10m to its annual turnover.

Pavers has more than 100 retail outlets across the UK, as well as a successful online store (www.pavers.co.uk), but wanted to launch a TV shopping channel to help increase sales and brand awareness.

Speaking about the new channel, managing director, Stuart Paver, said: “We’ve been successfully selling Pavers footwear via several popular shopping channels for many years so creating our own channel and having complete control over programme content seemed like a natural next step. We’re expecting the channel to be a huge success following launch and are looking forward to developing the channel further over the next 12 months.”

Brands available to buy from the channel will include Timberland, Skechers, Caterpillar, Hush Puppies, Pierre Cardin, Fly Flot, Van Dal, Equity, Marco Tozzi and Tamaris.

Delivery will be available across the UK, with a set postage cost of £2.99, no matter how many shoes are ordered per transaction. Worldwide delivery is also available, with all postage prices being available on the website (www.pavershoes.tv). All items will usually be dispatched within two working days.
