Superhouse named best exporter 2009-2010
For the year 2009-2010, Indian leather and leathergoods manufacturer Superhouse Ltd has been awarded the ‘Excellence Award for Best Exporter’ by the Council for Leather Exports, on 31 January 2011 in Chennai.
The award was given by union minister, Shri Vir Bhadra Singh, and was taken by Shri Vinay Sanan, executive director of the company.
Superhouse Ltd also received three more awards for the export of leather garments, leather accessories and non-leather saddelry products and is the largest exporter for the Uttar Pradesh province.
Superhouse Ltd started in the leather trade by commissioning a small tannery in 1984-85 and it currently operates 19 production facilities. Products manufactured in these units include finished leather, fashion and safety footwear, leather garments, safety apparels, saddelry, riding garments and riding shoes. Products from these units are exported to Europe, South Africa, the US, Canada and Australia.
