Mr Hunt has more than 20 years’ experience in applied chemistry including stints at Milliken Chemical, EI Dupont deNemours, Nano-Tex, and Dow Chemical. He earned his PhD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is the author of five patents.

“Michael will be working with Faytex and our Dri-Lex fabrics to help us develop new combinations of fibres, constructions and applied chemistries that will allow us to stay on our present course of constant innovation,” said Ms Cindy Fay Stangl. “We’re excited about having him interact with our footwear and apparel customers to determine their needs and the best fabric solutions for their individual challenges. Michael is uniquely qualified by both education and experience to help lead us to the next level in designing and developing unique new fabrics to serve our customer base.”

Katie Stangl is a 2010 graduate of Providence College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.

“We’re excited to have Katie officially part of the family business,” said Ms Cindy Fay Stangl. “In a very short time she has already made contributions to our sales efforts, new business development and a number of our marketing outreach programs.”
