Geox takes control in Austria

The stores, including a flagship store in Vienna, had previously been operated under franchise agreements by a local company, Stiefelkönig.
Geox founder, Mario Moretti Polegato, commented: “I am very satisfied with the agreement we have reached. It fits in with our development strategy and our desire to expand our network of own-brand stores.”
He said the stores were in the most important shopping streets and most prestigious shopping centres in the cities of Vienna, Linz, Graz and Innsbruck.
