Cole Haan on the move
03/02/2011
High-end leathergoods and footwear company Cole Haan is to relocate its headquarters from Yarmouth, Maine to nearby Scarborough this summer.
The company has leased 3,500 square-metres of office space at a location called the Roundwood Business Park.
The Cole Haan label was founded in 1928 in Chicago, and in 1975 was acquired by George Denney, a former leather cutter at a Maine factory. It opened its first retail store in Freeport in 1982, and was acquired by Nike in 1988.
