Xiaoshan shoe exports exceed $200million
The Xiaoshan Bureau of Inspection and Quarantine has stated that shoe exports in Xiaoshan city, China, increased by 50.8% in pairs and 59.2% in value to $204.67 million during January to mid-December, setting a record high in shoe exports.
The bureau said that 70% of the city’s shoe producers were based in Puyang town. There are 12 Xiaoshan shoemakers with export values above $5 million and 40 with export values higher than $1 million.
