New footwear event for Brazil

The event, called Zero Grau, will take place for the first time from 21–23 November in Gramado in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Merkator director Frederico Pletsch Neto explained on announcing the new event that it would be aimed principally at the Brazilian footwear sector, offering a showcase for brands to display their collections for autumn-winter, as well as for their suppliers to exhibit new technology and materials.
Mr Pletsch said: “We are confident this will be a positive development for the whole footwear value chain.”
