Velcro Companies takes on new image

The new branding strategy includes a revamped logo design, which draws upon elements of the company’s original logo, which has been used for half a century.
Designed by Barcelona-based Insòlit Design, the new-look logo retains the company’s familiar Flying-V, which is now encircled in a striking red sphere.
It will be deployed across all business units, including footwear, throughout 2011. From January 2012, the Velcro Companies will have a single identity worldwide.
The company will also upgrade its websites over the next 18 months to offer details of new products, merchandising solutions, contact details and promotions.
