Footwear billionaires

Beijing-based Hurun Research Institute puts the list together every year and, for 2010, has included 1,363 people in China who have personal wealth of $150 million or more, making each of them billionaires in the local currency, the renminbi (Rmb).
According to the China Leather Industry Association, 12 senior figures from the footwear sector are ont he list, with the founder of Anta, Ding Zhizhong, the highest placed at number 37 with personal wealth estimated at Rmb 21 billion, equivalent to around $3.1 billion.
