Garmont to bring Chris Davenport back in as brand ambassador
15/10/2010
A two-time World Champion big mountain skier, Chris Davenport is widely regarded as one of the premier ski mountaineers in the world today. His resumé includes high-profile ascents and descents in Antarctica, the Himalayas, Denali National Park, and in his home state of Colorado, where he skied all 54 of the state’s 14,000-foot peaks in less then one year.
For 2011, he will be skiing in Garmont’s Radium and Masterlite alpine touring boots in the California Sierra, the Alaska Range, and in the French Alps at Chamonix, among other mountain destinations.
“Dav’s spirit of adventure, his innovative nature, and his outgoing personality are a superior match for Garmont,” said Gord Bailey, president of Garmont. “We are excited to continue working with one of the pre-eminent voices in our sport.”
Garmont’s product line includes alpine, alpine touring and telemark ski boots; and outdoor footwear for mountaineering, backpacking, hiking and trail sports.
