Shoes are better than surgery

Speaking to media in France, Mr Louboutin said he had overheard two customers talking while trying on shoes in a new store he opened in Madrid in September. On seeing her friend with a pair of Louboutins on, one of the women commented: "This is better than any face-lift."
The designer explained that, in his opinion, a well made pair of shoes can completely transform any woman's appearance, giving her a different expression, different body language and different attitude. "Shoes can give you a lift, physically and emotionally," he said.
