Closer ties between producers and retailers in Guanajuato

The footwear industry association of the Mexican state of Guanajuato (CICEG) has launched a new programme called ‘My Shoe Shop’ (‘Mi Zapatería’), which it says will help build stronger relationships between footwear manufacturers in the state and the retail sector.

CICEG president, Demetrio Armando Martín Dueñas, said stronger ties between makers and sellers would help strengthen the domestic footwear market. He said: “The best aspects of our domestic footwear industry will be strengthened by this programme.”
