Chinese safety footwear manufcaturer Spider King has imported new equipment from Desma in Germany as part of an expansion plan that will lead to its products becoming available on the export market.

Spider King's production is near Wenzhou and the company's plan is to make it into the largest safety shoe production facility in China. The company has said that the production of safety footwear, previously the preserve of the most developed economies, is now shifting and, according to Spider King, China is set to become an important production location for these items.
