The shoes are offered in three different leather types: waterproof Gore-Tex, weather-resistant Hydromax and Premier.
Highlights of the new range include the World Class GTX, a waterproof shoe that, according to the company, combines “traditional luxury and modern technology”.
The BIOM Golf is based on decades of research into the human foot. According to Ecco it takes advantage of the foot’s system for absorbing impact while bringing players closer to the ground for better feel and traction.
The Golf Street shoe is now offered in rich camel leather and is said to offer versatility, performance and style, while the Comfort Classic has a leather welt outsole and offers a city look, a soft feel and good fit.
“We’re exceedingly proud to be shoemakers first and foremost, but also one of the largest producers of premium leathers,” says Michael Waack, head of global golf at Ecco. “And because we control the entire manufacturing process – from rawhide to retail – we are uniquely positioned to provide customers with the world’s best golf shoes.”
