Mod’Amont still important for Spanish component companies

Around 15 Spanish footwear component manufacturers travelled to Paris to take part in the September 2010 edition of the Mod’Amont exhibition, part of Pluriel Vision.

The director of export trade for the Spanish Footwear Components and Machinery Association (AEC), María Eugenia Coquillat, said before the start of the event (September 14) that the Spanish presence at Mod’Amont has diminished in recent years. But she insisted that the French market is still an important one for the Spanish footwear components industry. She added: “Good numbers of buyers and, above all, designers from big international brands attend this fair.”
