Rhenoflex to open new production site in Indonesia

German toe box and counter producer Rhenoflex is to open a new production facility in Indonesia. Sales of the company’s footwear products have seen strong growth in the region over recent years. Producing the materials locally will allow manufacturers to take advantage of their zero-waste production feature by returning cutting waste to be recycled into new product and, at the same time, keep the carbon footprint at the lowest possible level.

Having recently increased capacity in China and Vietnam, Rhenoflex has agreed a contract for its products to be produced by PT Indo RX in Tangerang, Java. Machinery was installed and production staff trained during the middle part of the year in time for production to commence in October.
