Anta's profits rise 25%
Chinese sportswear brand Anta saw revenues rise 22.6% during the first half of the year.
Revenues titled RMB 3.45 billion ($508 million) during the six-month compared with the prior-year period. Footwear revenues grew 11.5%, apparel sales rose 35.5%.
Net income increased by 25% year-on-year to RMB 760.23 million.
The company has attributed these increases to higher average sales prices across the board. Footwear average sale prices rose 2% to RMB 96.9 and apparel prices rose 7.1% to RMB 49.6.
Anta opened 461 stores during the first six months of 2010, bringing its total to 7,052 outlets.
