Indian leather exports rose 12.7% between April and June. Exports totalled $757.3 million compared with $671.9 million during the prior-year period.
Leather footwear exports grew 15.4% to $278.5 million from $241.4 million, while non-leather footwear exports were up 4.2% to $4.5 million from $4.3 million.
However, footwear component exports fell 10.2% to $50.7 million compared with $56.5 million during the prior-year period.
