Beauty queens to showcase Agion silver technology
Shoe insoles with silver-based antimicrobial technology from Agion will go into all the formal shoes worn by contestants at a beauty contest in Malibu, California, on August 21.
New York-based Silver Linings is to provide the insoles. It sells Agion-equipped insoles in packs of three pairs for $16.95 and aims the products specifically at women who like to wear shoes with no socks. The insoles can be cut to fit any toe-shape and stay in place thanks to a grid backing rather than adhesives that can damage expensive shoes.
