The company achieved sales of EUR 377.5 million for the six-month period and said it had experienced a particularly strong acceleration in the second quarter.
Of the group’s main brands, Tod’s achieved the biggest proportion of sales with EUR 195.5 million, followed by Hogan with EUR 131.9 million, Fay with EUR 38.5 million and Roger Vivier with EUR 7.4 million. In terms of growth, Roger Vivier had the best result, with an increase of 28.3% compared to the first half of 2009. Tod’s achieved growth of 8.4% and Hogan of 4.2%. Fay suffered a decrease of 11%, but the company said it had been affected by a change in timing of its spring-summer deliveries.
In the first six months of 2010, sales of footwear totalled EUR 282.4 million, with growth of 8.3% from H1 2009. Revenues from leathergoods and accessories totalled EUR 57.8 million over the six months, a decrease of 9.9% compared to the same period last year, but the company said this was in line with management expectations and that growth in the second quarter had been stronger. Sales from apparel were EUR 37 million in the first six months of 2010, with positive results for the Hogan apparel collections.
