Strong Q2 for Wolverine World Wide

16/07/2010
Outdoor footwear brand Wolverine World Wide has reported strong results for the second quarter, ending June 19, 2010.

Reported revenue for the quarter was $258.2 million, an increase of 4.8% compared to the prior year. The company said growth was partially offset by a delay into the subsequent quarter of a significant shipment to a third-party distributor.

Chief executive, Blake Krueger, said: “The momentum in our business this year continued into the second quarter with very solid growth in both revenue and earnings.”

The company’s portfolio of brands includes Merrell and Wolverine. It is also the exclusive footwear licensee of popular brands including CAT, Harley-Davidson and Patagonia.
