The Italian National Footwear Industry Association (ANCI) has included Beirut for the first time on the list of cities around the world in which it conducts special exhibitions and workshops to interest local retail firms in Italian shoes.

ANCI is taking 11 Italian footwear brands to the Lebanese capital for a special promotional tour on July 19–20. The event has been organised with the help of the Italian Trade Commission and the Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Embassy in Lebanon.

The 11 Italian companies will put their spring-summer 2011 collections on display at the Hotel Riviera on the famous Beirut seafront. The participating companies are Alberto Gozzi, Fratesi, Falc, Marino Fabiani, Moda di Fausto, Nouchka Italia, Pelleteria Orlandi Valentino, Spring, Taccetti, Trade House and X-bacco.
