According to reports, ladies’ footwear retailer Daphne International Holdings is planning on increasing its store network to 10,000 by 2015. It currently runs around 5,000 outlets in China, Taiwan, Singapore and Japan.

In 2009 the company operated 3,307 Daphne-branded stores in mainland China as well as 813 Shoebox-brand stores. Then in January it acquired a 60%, stake in Pou Chen Group's Full Pearl International division, which includes high-end shoe brands such as AEE, Ameda, Aldo and Jessica Simpson.

The company is expecting revenues to rise by 10% in 2010 and hopes to end the year with a store count exceeding 6,000.
