Specialty materials provider Rogers Corporation has celebrated the inclusion of its Poron cushioning materials in the June 2010 edition of the SATRA Bulletin.
An article in the journal published by the research and testing organisation highlighted a number of examples of footwear technology manufacturers who still operate out of the United States.
Rogers said afterwards that it was proud still to produce its cushioning materials and have its global headquarters and research and development facilities in Connecticut. The company developed Poron materials in 1959 to replace leather inner soles and linings in footwear.
