Bikkembergs continues football love affair

Belgian designer Dirk Bikkembergs has put together off-field outfits for the Slovenian national football team.
The first collection under the new agreement will be ready in time for the players to wear at the FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Although the collection will include formal clothes, including white shirts and ties, it will also include specially designed sports shoes.
Mr Bikkembergs is a football enthusiast, having worked in the past on similar collections for Inter Milan. In 2005 he acquired the small Italian club FC Fossombrone, which plays at the fifth level, but has become famous in apparel circles because of its distinctive Bikkembergs-designed shirts.
