Shoe component firm to open Hunan factory
Zhongshan Chengzhang Shoes Materials is looking to open a new factory in China’s Hunan province.
According to reports, manager Guan Dawei is carrying out a survey in the province to establish where the best place to set up would be.
Established in 2002, the company is based in Zhongshan city, Guangdong province, and supplies some of the world’s major sport shoe brands such as Nike and adidas, along with a number of domestic brands.
The company believes the new production site would help it build relationships with local shoe firms in the area and cut transport costs.
