Vietnam sill ambitious over footwear exports

The Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association (Lefaso) has said that the footwear industry now ranks third in Vietnam in terms of its export earnings, behind garments and crude oil.
The organisation said that the footwear industry’s export turnover by the end of 2010 will reach almost $5.6 billion, which would represent a 17% increase compared to 2009.
