Faytex makes international appointment

Footwear materials supplier Faytex, developer of the Dri-Lex moisture management technology, has appointed Bill Pickett to the newly created position of international sales manager. Company vice-president and general manager, Cindy Fay Stangl, said the idea behind the appointment was to “help us mine new and renewed interest in Dri-Lex and Eco Dri-Lex, in particular, outside the US”.
Ms Stangl said that Bill Pickett’s 10-plus years’ experience with Faytex and his “understanding of how to work with people in many different cultures” were the two reasons that made him “uniquely qualified” to take on this new role.
She commented: “Bill will continue to service his existing domestic customers, especially those on the West Coast, while he builds our international business. He will be headquartered at our offices here in Weymouth, Massachusetts, but will be travelling extensively internationally to acquire new business, and travelling domestically to his customers to ensure that we don’t miss a beat delivering the outstanding customer service for which Faytex and Bill are well known. It’s a challenging assignment but we’re certain that Bill is the right person for the job.”
Mr Pickett will take up the new position immediately.
