New Korean distributer for Hunter
South Korea-based LG Fashion has signed a contract with Scotland-based Hunter Boot, best known for its Wellington boot collections. Under the agreement, LG will have the exclusive rights to sell Hunter’s footwear in South Korea.
Established in 1856, Hunter has supplied footwear to members of the British royal family for more 30 years, and celebrities such as Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley have been spotted wearing its boots.
LG Fashion began offering a range of Hunter footwear products on a pilot basis at its outlets in Seoul late last year and recently opened its first Hunter shop in the city’s Lotte Department Store. According to the company, it is currently in talks with other South Korean department stores to discuss opening more Hunter stores.
