During 2009, LaCrosse Footwear invested $2.7 million in a new Midwest distribution centre.
Chief executive, Joseph Schneider, said: “We’re very pleased with our strong sales and earnings growth in the fourth quarter of 2009, driven by increased demand across work and outdoor markets. Throughout the year, we continued to see strong demand from various branches of the US military, reflecting the proven durability and performance of our premium footwear in demanding terrain.”
He said the company planned to continue to introduce innovative new products during 2010.
