The winner and runner-up at the Champions Tour Mitsubishi Championship in Hualalai, Hawaii were wearing ECCO shoes.
Tom Watson wore the New Classic Premier, featuring high-quality smooth leather and using the company’s direct-injection process for better support and weather resistance. Runner-up and staff player Fred Couples went for a more contemporary look during his Champions Tour debut competing in the Golf Street Premier, a sport-casual shoe that can be worn both on and off the course.
"With a victory on the line, two of the sport's most high-profile players trusted the comfort and performance of ECCO golf shoes," says Jesper Thuen, sponsor and event manager, ECCO Golf. "One chose a traditional style, the other a more fashion-forward look, but both were confident in the brand's game-enhancing technology when it mattered most."
The golf shoes are also worn by international Tour stars such as Aaron Baddeley, Colin Montgomerie, Stuart Appleby, Arjun Atwal, John Bickerton and Bradley Dredge.
