Footwear retailer changes name

Levtran Enterprises, an independent footwear and clothing retail group based in Baltimore, is to change its company name to DTLR, Inc. The change becomes official February 1.
The company, which specialises in urban fashion, has 70 stores concentrated in six regions of the US: Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, North Carolina (Charlotte, Durham, Greensboro and Winston-Salem), Virginia (Richmond and Norfolk) and Washington DC.
Last year, it began to use DTLR as the name of its stores in Washington DC and Baltimore; the outlets there had previously been known as Downtown Locker Room. The move was successful and led to the decision to rebrand the whole group.
