Jessica Simpson joins Haiti shoe campaign

Soles4Souls, the Nashville-based charity organisation that distributes footwear to people in need, has announced that music artist and fashion designer Jessica Simpson has joined its 50KShoes.com campaign to raise funds to send immediate relief to the victims of the earthquakes in Haiti.
The charity has pledged to distribute one million pairs of new shoes to the people of Haiti. The organisation says shoes are "absolutely necessary" for survivors to be effective in the rescue and rebuilding efforts.
