New senior footwear appointment at Timberland

The Timberland Company has appointed Gregg Duffy senior director of performance footwear. In this role, Mr Duffy will be responsible for the overall management of the company’s global performance footwear portfolio, including multi-sport, hiking and seasonal offerings. He will report to Brian Moore, global vice president of men’s footwear and outdoor performance.
Mr Duffy has more than 17 years’ experience in the performance footwear industry, having held senior positions in product design and management for such brands as Puma, Saucony, Burton-Gravis and most recently, Merrell.
“Gregg makes a great addition to the Timberland outdoor performance team,” said Mr Moore. “He has a real passion for product design, and an innate understanding of the performance market and the consumer we’re looking to serve. His experience will be invaluable as we continue to build our performance portfolio, especially in the areas of hiking and multi-sport.”
