Indian shoe exports fall

India’s leather footwear exports dropped 17.2% between April and October. Leather shoe exports totalled $619 million compared with $747.4 million during the same seven-month period last year.
Footwear component exports dropped 25.2% to $126 million from $168.5 million, while non-leather footwear exports fell 8.8% to $25 million from $27.4 million during the prior-year period.
