Industry in Guangzhou senses recovery

The China Leather Industry Association has reported that the footwear manufacturing business around the city of Guangzhou has experienced an upturn in the last two months.
The organisation said companies in Guangzhou had begun to receive an increase in orders, albeit smaller ones than they were used to before the global economic downturn. It also said manufacturing companies were now receiving the benefit of retailers having sold long-held stock.
