Converse has introduced its latest Elton Brand signature shoe for the 2009-2010 NBA season featuring.

The new EB2 is a follow-up from the first Elton Brand shoe launched last year, the EB1. Partnering with JCPenney once again, the new shoe is designed to offer greater speed, agility and versatility. It is made from durable leather and features perforation in the toe box and midfoot to provide ventilation. It features speed lacing for a sleek look and a spat strap to provide additional support. The midsole is made from lightweight EVA, while the outsole has multidirectional circle bone traction, forefoot flex groove and a decoupling heel for better ground contact when landing.

“I grew up watching basketball’s greatest players wearing the Converse Star Chevron logo on the Weapon and the Pro Leather. To have this logo on the EB2 is a badge of honour,” said Mr Brand. “The EB2 is a great looking, affordable shoe that offers comfort and stability with the appeal of being a signature model. It’s my goal to stay healthy this season and showcase the EB2 with successful, solid time on the court.”
