Pakistan's leather sector footwear exports fell 45.4% in September to $6.3 million compared with $10.7 million the previous month, according to the Federal Bureau of Statistics.

During the first quarter, Pakistan exported 3,115,000 pairs of footwear worth $29.8 million during the quarter including leather footwear worth $26.7 million, canvas footwear worth $40,000 million and other footwear worth $3.1 million. Total footwear exports fell 21% from 4,143,000 pairs worth $37.7 during the same period a year ago.
