More visitors at Modacalzado and Iberpiel

The final figures for the twenty-fourth edition of the Madrid leathergoods and footwear exhibitions Modacalzado and Iberpiel at the end of September show a 17.4% increase in number of visitors compared to the previous edition, March 2009.

The results, just released, gave the total number of visitors as 10,815. Of these, 17% came from outside Spain with a considerable rise in the number of visitors from France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Chile, Egypt, Morocco, Mexico, Poland, Switzerland and the Ukraine.

There were 325 exhibiting companies showcasing the latest collections of 702 footwear and leathergoods brands.

The next edition will take place between March 11 and 13 next year.
