Shoe exports from port of Shenzhen on the up

Customs officials in the city of Shenzhen in the Chinese province of Guangdong have reported that the volume of shoe exports moving through the city’s port has enjoyed steady growth this year.
In the first three quarters of 2009, footwear exports worth $3.69 billion left the port, with most of the growth in demand coming from other Asian, Latin American and African countries.
