Leather production falls in Pakistan

New data from Pakistan shows that the country’s footwear production fell 3.24% year-on-year in July.
The country produced 2,691,000 pairs of shoes in July, down 3.24% compared with 2,781,000 pairs in July 2008. However, sole leather production rose 150% to 20 tons in July compared with just eight tons in July 2008.
