Canadian tribunal finds in favour of China and Vietnam

02/10/2009

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal has concluded that the dumping of waterproof footwear and waterproof footwear in nearly finished form by China and Vietnam had not caused, and was not threatening to cause, injury to the domestic industry. As a result, it has decided that anti-dumping duties will not be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency.

The complainant in this case was the Shoe Manufacturers' Association of Canada, based in Quebec.
