Satra appoints new director

Leather and footwear industry standards and testing body SATRA has appointed Simon Botterill as its new finance director. The appointment follows the retirement of Rob Morgan.
Mr Botterill has extensive experience of working at board level for a range of companies, but was born into a shoemaking family, W. Botterill and Sons, which owned the Gola brand of sports footwear.
Shortly after taking up his new post, he commented: “Given my background, I am particularly delighted to have joined SATRA. I have found this to be an extremely professional organisation, and I am greatly enjoying working with the management team in further developing the service that we bring to our members and customers.”
