ASICS Europe appoints new vice-president

Sports industry veteran Alistair Cameron has joined footwear brand ASICS as vice-president of sales and marketing, following a long career at Speedo International, New Balance and, more recently, Clarks.
Starting mid-October, Mr Cameron will work to further strengthen the ASICS brand and bring what the company calls its “ambitious growth plans” for Europe, the Middle East and Africa to fruition.
On taking up the newly created post, he said: “ASICS has strong growth potential and with the right team in situ the opportunities are enormous.”
