Clarks in search for new chief executive

The Financial Times has reported that footwear brands Clarks is to search for a new chief executive with Peter Bolliger preparing to step down after leading the company for eight years.
Clarks is one of the UK’s 50 biggest private companies, but sales in its home market fell last year. Sales in Asia, the rest of Europe and the Americas now account for almost half of revenues. The company now has 150 overseas stores, and is believed to be planning a substantial expansion in China when the global economy picks up.
